1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NeuroHelm ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NeuroHelm is a personal health and wellness tracking application that allows users to log symptoms, track supplements and medications, monitor dietary plans, and generate personal health reports.

4. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
• One person may not maintain more than one account

5. Subscriptions and Payments

• Some features require a paid subscription
• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play, Apple App Store, or Stripe (for web payments)
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Refunds are handled according to the respective app store policies

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the health data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store and process this data to provide you with the Service functionality.

You also retain ownership of any content you post in the community — including social posts, comments, and replies. By posting, you grant NeuroHelm a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and store that content within the Service.

We reserve the right to review, moderate, or remove any community content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, with or without prior notice.

Your social name is publicly visible to other users within the app. You are responsible for choosing an appropriate name and for the content you publish under it.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code
• Share your account with others or sell access to the Service

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NeuroHelm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page in the app, or by contacting us.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Community Guidelines

The NeuroHelm community exists to support individuals living with neurological conditions. By participating, you agree to uphold these standards:

• Treat all members with respect and empathy — everyone is on their own health journey
• Do not present unverified health claims as medical fact; share personal experiences rather than prescriptive advice
• Harassment, hate speech, bullying, and discriminatory language are strictly prohibited

All community content is subject to automated AI moderation. Violations may result in content removal, temporary restrictions, or account suspension.
